Unlike other editing and recording programs, Avid Pro Tools does not have an integrated way to reassign hotkeys and shortcuts within the program, so you're pretty much stuck with the default layout. How to Add or Change Shortcuts in Avid Pro Tools Lock or Unlock Shuffle Mode: Command-click "Shuffle" button (Mac) or Control-click "Shuffle" button (Windows).Cycle Through Edit Modes: Key (known as the "Single Open Quote" key, located directly above the Tab key).Enable Snap to Grid AND Shuffle Mode:.Enable Snap to Grid (while in another edit mode):.Enable or Disable Pre/Post-Roll Time:.Now we’ll dive into more complex keyboard shortcuts that will allow you to access a wide range of features and tools. These single key commands are often called “hotkeys” and are typically assigned due to their frequency of use. Trim Selected Clip Start to Cursor: Key. *Note: These are all based on the standard qwerty keyboard There are lots of different shortcut combinations that work with Pro Tools, but first, let’s start with the basics: Make sure to save this for future reference! We’ve compiled this handy Pro Tools keyboard shortcuts guide so that you can speed up your editing and recording sessions so you can work smarter, not harder. Soon you'll see your entire session fly by and be hitting "export" in no time. From creating new tracks to fine-tuning the tiniest waveform blip in a dialog track, there's a shortcut for nearly everything. When used correctly, they become almost a sort of dance that your fingers do as you edit, allowing you to sink into that ever-elusive “flow state” during your editing and recording sessions. Shortcuts save time because they allow you to access tools and features right from your keyboard without having to click through lengthy menus or leave your workspace. If you’re an editor who works on Avid Pro Tools, shortcuts should become a key part of your workflow, allowing you to work faster and more efficiently. Speed, however, is a much easier skill to master, and largely comes down to how well you know your tools. Making mistakes costs time as well, so learning how to make precise, error-free edits and modifications is a skill that many sound editors will spend their entire career honing. The longer it takes to complete a project, the less projects you complete. Being a successful professional audio editor or producer requires both precision and speed.

□ Aurora Borealis Northern Lights Star Projector It's highly customizable, the patterns are realistic and the music rhythm mode is impressive. Read our full Sega Toys Homestar Flux star projector review. You can also buy disks that simulate fireworks, 'night jellyfish' and a hot-air balloon festival.Įditor's note 21 Nov: It looks like this star projector is unavailable for the time being in the US, but you can still purchase it in the UK and overseas. For example, the North America nebula as taken by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope and the weird seven-star system called Jabbah (officially called Nu Scorpii and IC 4592) as imaged by NASA's WISE mission. There is a disc that displays the planets of the solar system as well, but it is the ones that show galaxies, nebulas and other NASA-based imagery that really stand out. Simulations of the aurora borealis and the aurora australis are perhaps the highlights. There are 30 additional discs available when you visit Astrial, Sega Toys' official online store. It has an automatic switch-off after 15, 30 or 60 minutes function. Like many other star projectors, there's a 'shooting star' function, although, in our Sega Homestar Flux review, we explained how we'd like this to be at random intervals, or in a different place each time so it isn't as predictable. There are a further 17 Sega-branded discs available to purchase separately for around $18 a piece, and also compatible with Homestar Original disks. It comes with two discs, the Northern Hemisphere, which shows a starry sky with 60,000 stars, and the Northern Hemisphere Constellations which contains constellation labels to help with learning. This globe-shaped star projector stands out from the rest with the sheer number of distinct stars it projects, and it also has some very tempting science-based upgrade options. With adjustable focus, you can enjoy an impressive display of 60,000 stars, surpassing the capabilities of many other projectors. It goes beyond a basic star projector, resembling a home planetarium with high accuracy. Using advanced glass lenses, this projector creates realistic night skies that appear bright, even in rooms that aren't completely dark. While it comes with a higher price tag, it delivers a lot in return. The Sega Toys Homestar Flux stands out as a compact and stylish star projector, known for its power and sleek design. The night sky representation is about as realistic as it gets. ★★★★½ It's on the pricier end of the market but the option to upgrade your disc collection is attractive. □ Sega Toys Homestar Flux Great for recreating a realistic-looking night sky inside. Moving from Black Friday into Cyber Monday some deals will be ending on the night of 27 November, but you can check out the best Cyber Monday star projector deals in our Cyber Monday deals hub. Star projectors vary in shapes, features and sizes, catering to different needs. Whether you’re hosting a space-themed party, learning about the cosmos or simply looking for a way to help you fall asleep, star projectors can do it all. The best star projectors can either be used as home planetariums, projecting realistic night skies and galaxies indoors, or they can serve as soft, glowing night lights for adults or children.ĭepending on the model you choose, star projectors can recreate the night sky accurately from the comfort of your own home, surrounding you with stars and constellations and many even double as galaxy projectors. The ShallowTray Modeler, a proprietary software program, is used to accurately size the air stripper to your specific application. The air strippers are available in molded polyethylene (for the 1300-P and 2300-P series only) or various grades of stainless steel for all models. The ShallowTray was designed to be easily maintained and resist fouling. Typically, the air stripper is used as a post-treatment process, but could be used as a stand-alone unit if the influent water is free from oil, solids and surfactants. The ShallowTray product line offers a wide variety of size options ranging from one tray to six trays capable of handling a flow rate from 0.5 GPM to 1300 GPM. Over 10,000 analytical tests have been performed on the influent and effluent samples to confirm effective treatment results. The ShallowTray is capable of stripping many different volatile organic contaminants ( view list). Since then, over 4,000 units have been installed worldwide. The NEEP ShallowTray®, invented in 1988, was the first low profile air stripper offered to the marketplace.
I'll do this on a blank partition, to avoid any risk to my working bootable partition. Since arranging for a strong and stable internet connection for a day would involve a lot of delays and effort, I'm going to try a clean installation from the installer I have, and see what I end up with. She also said that some installers would include all the needed files, while others would need to download things. Maybe some methods of invoking the upgrade would work while others wouldn't, but she didn't give any particular instructions for this, other than insuring a good internet connection. It sounds like her claim is contradicted by your experience of upgrading to Catalina, since you didn't automatically end up with the iWork apps installed after the upgrade. Unfortunately my only internet connection is through a cell phone network, which has reasonable speeds but maxes out at 3 GB per day! Her comment to that was: "That might not work." During a recent bit of travel I'd made a point of downloading a Catalina installer, which weighs in at 8.1 GB. I asked her specifically if the iWork apps were built into the installer, and she replied that was correct, but I'd need a strong and stable WiFi or cable connection. She told me that during the update of Mac OS to Catalina, it will also install all the iWork apps that are compatible with the new Mac OS. I have an update about another approach that's supposed to work, according to an Apple representative that I had a long digital chat with. Hello Troyf, and thanks a lot for sharing this solution - it looks very promising! To redeem your copy of Office, please see Download and install Office 365 Home, Personal, or University on your PC. If you just purchased a new device that includes Office 365, we recommend redeeming (installing) Office before upgrading to Windows 10. For more info, go to the Volume Licensing Service Center. Windows 10 Enterprise isn’t available in the media creation tool. To check what edition you're currently running, go to PC info in PC settings or System in Control Panel, and look for Windows edition. You should also choose the same edition of Windows. To see what language you're currently using, go to Time and language in PC settings or Region in Control Panel. You'll need to choose the same language when you install Windows 10. We also recommend going to the PC manufacturer's website for additional info about updated drivers and hardware compatibility. Make sure the PC meets the system requirements for Windows 10. To check this on your PC, go to PC info in PC settings or System in Control Panel, and look for System type. You’ll create either a 64-bit or 32-bit version of Windows 10.

Your map's performance could be affected if it includes many layers and sublayers. Note: When you add a custom map from Mapbox Studio, Tableau imports the data for every layer, even if the layer is turned off. For more information about how data layers work, see Customize How Your Map Looks (Link opens in a new window). Data layers and Mapbox are independent of one another in Tableau. In Tableau, Data Layers are pre-built tiles that include demographic information by various levels, like State and County. Map layers are different from data layers in Tableau. If the layer group is turned off in Tableau, then back on, all of that layer group's sublayers will be turned on. If a layer group in Mapbox Studio includes sublayers that are turned off, those sublayers will also be turned off when the map is added to Tableau, and the layer group will appear as a single layer in the Map Layers pane. Layer groups and single layers in Mapbox Studio will display as individual layers in the Map Layers Pane in Tableau, and will retain the layer configuration set in Mapbox Studio. When you add a Mapbox Studio map to Tableau, all the map's layers are added, too. For more information, see Mapping Concepts in Tableau (Link opens in a new window).
